"Darrell Issa Subpoenas John Kerry To Testify On Benghazi" Thats the headline I woke to, today. "Darrell Issa Subpoenas John Kerry To Testify On Benghazi" Unbelievable! Really Mister Issa? I understand what happened was a tragedy, and that people died. Which is a real reason why getting to the truth is important. And I understand, that you know in your 'non-partisan' heart that obviously our President's political leanings or better still, a failure on the part of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must somehow be behind the events at the embassy, at least in your deluded 'non-partisan' thought processes. Even though you've already held numerous hearings on the 'tragic' events and haven't found anything that in any way implicates the President or former Secretary of State, Its nice to know, that even without any proof except you personal feelings; that you are willing to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars of tax payers money to confirm at all costs that you are correct. Damned all the evidence! 

And now you are 'forcing' our current Secretary of State, John Kerry to appear at yet another hearing on the event.  Senator Issa, explain this to me: John Kerry was a Senator when this tragedy occurred. Ergo, he wasn't involved with what occurred over seas in Benghazi. So unless you want to query him on the vote that congress took which lowered funds for the protection of foreign embassies, what could this testimony give you which will help put any new light into your investigation.

Considering, according to information mentioned in an excellent article, posted online… That you opposed subpoenaing then Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in regards to the the Iraq war (showcased below) makes you doing the opposite with current Secretary of State, John Kerry seem a little politically motivated. 

He also noted that Issa opposed subpoenaing then- Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, in 2007, in the years-log investigation of phony Iraq War evidence, during which Issa decried "The inappropriateness of hauling the secretary of state… out of the performance of her job."

That you opposed subpoenaing then Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in regards to the Iraq war makes me wonder why you haven't put as much effort into investigating the reasons we went to that war itself. You've spent millions of dollars investigating the tragedy at the embassy, which of course is important. But wouldn't make more sense to use those funds to investigate what really brought us to war! Remember that their are of millions upon millions of lives lost because of a War that should never have happened in the first place.

Perhaps its time to face the truth, and its time to investigate what really happened in Iraq. And lets see who really should be put on trial for crimes against America and Humanity.

PART 1: Isn't life obnoxious enough…
The other day I removed a person from my list of people that I've been communicating with or simply sharing with via Facebook. I usually make my commentaries on Twitter and forward them onto Facebook. Since I’m on both, it makes life easy. Well, as is the case with these so-called social networks, one acquires friends along the way, and/or thru those connections you receive responses that sometimes (A) make no sense, and or (B) can really upset you enough to wanna scream. 
A simple recap of what happened was, that after sharing an article I had read discussing the history between the Ukraine and Russia. I mentioned briefly how I had found it logical and intelligent how I thought it put what's happening into real historic context. (A copy of the whole conversation is showcased below.)
But instead of a like or a comment of any merit, I received a nonsensical ‘Birther’ commentary about President Obama. Now I can understand a joke, to a degree, but when someone demeans our President by throwing out the Kenyan crap, it begins to dawn on me that I'm not interested in having them in my life, even if its just on Facebook. We are discussing Russia here, not Obama's birthplace.  
So when, still thinking that perhaps the commentary was a joke, I responded with what I hoped was a nice warning... basically, don't go there. Sadly it seems, they did.
This time, upping the anti, by throwing in racist comments. Something that always pushes my button. Growing up in Crown Heights, in the 1960’s, as practically the only white person in my neighborhood, racism was something that was a tangible thing. I witnessed it on a numerous occasions. It is something that has stuck with me my whole life. Just the realization that some people actually believe themselves to be better then others just because of how they looked or who they were has always troubled me. And whenever I hear people use those beliefs as excuses to harm others, it always makes me very uneasy. Especially when they use their so-called religious teachings as their reasoning for their unbelievable racist comments. 
To put it nicely people, enough with the racism. Honestly. I'm sorry but in the year 2014, to have to receive garbage commentary by a so-called friend goes beyond simply making small talk and enters the realm of hate speech. To actually have some ingrate use the term, Negro to describe President Obama, and for that matter, any person of color in the year 2014 as a Negro is simply being a racist. And they are using Facebook as a forum for hate speech. I understand that its the first amendment and its their freedom of speech. But that doesn’t disqualify it for what it is… hatred towards people of color or those who have different beliefs. Its freaking 2014, yet sadly, I guess it could have been a lot worse… 
And then to add fuel to the fire, the fool decided to throw in a few token words to showcase their political and historical stupidity: Dictator, Socialist, Commie,  and best yet, Fascist! all words that the fools like to throw out to describe anyone they don't agree with.
Obviously they were just getting started…
So as the screen cap showcases, I have removed them as Facebook Friends… you will notice that I have covered up the persons name & photo's (sorry, not gonna give them any further promotion). 

PART 2 When Political experts slip and reveal the truth behind their messages…
Sadly today’s reports that Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld slammed President Barack Obama on Monday, saying "a trained ape" would have better foreign policy skills, shouldn’t surprise me. Seems every day we get another comparison of our President and/or worse his wife, to either an ape or something worse. Sadly this racist commentary has only grown louder as the President has continued to serve his nation proudly.
Amazingly the expression he used  to describe our Presidents handling of Russia’s current actions, "a trained ape" actually works as both a metaphor and as a racist commentary, really showcasing how smart Mr. Rumsfeld really is. Which for me, makes it even worse. Somehow covering himself, just in case the mud starts flying his direction because of his obviously racist comment. 
Of course by using the elephant in the room, the term ‘ape’ to describe the person doing the job, and that person currently is a ‘person of color’ as an ape, and better still, “a trained ape” is honestly despicable. Even if said without realizing what you might be inferring, and I’m sorry, Mr. Rumsfeld doesn’t say anything without thinking first. I can already hear, his defenders arguing how wrong I am.

When will it stop. It’s bad enough when your so-called friends make commentary that goes beyond common decency, and you can simply remove them from your ‘friends’… but to have public officials, people in real power or those who can sway public opinion throw out commentary that frankly reeks of racist commentary, in the year 2014 is simply beyond reasoning. And those people who throw out crap like Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld just did, should be removed from the public discourse. Enough already.

PART 3 Unbelievable, 2000 tweets, who knew?
After I post this commentary, I will be sharing it on Twitter. Amazingly, that tweet will be my 2000th! How the heck is that possible? I Might have to rethink my phone service contract…Either that means I have too much time on my hands, I read too much, I have too many interests and have this need to share my thoughts to the world. Hopefully, as when I originally signed up, really its as a way to stay connected to friends and loved ones about whats up with my life, career and whatever that they might find fascinating. So when I receive commentary from my so-called friends that (as above), it has nothing to do with my share and/or then throw in their personal opinions that franking cross common decency. It forces me to sit back and ponder why I'm even wasting my time and energy… I mean 2000 tweets, maybe someone should throw me a party for being so inclusive with my opinions.

IT'S PUTIN'S WORLD 

AND WE LIVE IN IT

So now I get it... Russia has quietly gone backwards, back to the good old days…. It watched, as we wasted the last two decades on military actions that wasted our financial and military capabilities. And worse, watched as the small minded tried to ruin the basic idea behind our great nation's historic meaning. And now, as the petty, and greedy, spew their hatred, causing division and strife, Putin, has begun his attack. First Ukraine and then what, Poland? 
As opposed to the enemy that we've been facing, Al-Qaeda's of the world... Putin's actions with Yugoslavia, along with his current meanderings of the facts, reveals what might be the truth of his plans for the future of his country and for the world. Considering the fact that his time in office, is supposedly ending soon, scarily that could change… dictator perhaps, Czah? He doesn't act like a man whose gonna give up command easily. Perhaps this is the legacy he wishes to be remembered for... the reformation of the Soviet Union. Perhaps he's just testing us to see how far he can go. After all, Georgia, is still under his control.
Scary thoughts I know, but as opposed to the battle we have been engaged in, the possibility of military action between the US & Russia means a real good old fashioned war might be a brewing! And listening to the Republicans, the zeal for that possiblitiy, of war, plus their hatred for President Obama have seemed to merge into one common denominator: whose gonna be taking over the White House in 2016? This possibility of War, could have a major factor in who wins the next Presidency. A women in charge of our nation's defense, during a time of war, against the biggest threat to democracy in our world? I can already see them spewing that garbage. Perhaps Biden might have his chance now? Or perhaps this opens up the Republicans... After all aren't they better at defense? Haven't they proven their military genius the last 15 or 20 years... Maybe, instead, they should take a back seat and let somebody else do the job. 
Maybe just maybe, rational minds will prevail. Right…

Maybe it's because of Hillary Clinton's recent commentary comparing what Putin is doing to what The Nazi's did...

But I just had the most vivid, mini-movie? You know when you imagine an entire moment, and see it in your mind as if it was occurring, anyway...Today's news report of the ever escalating events in the Ukraine, a map of the area, showcasing what possibly is on the horizon, specificity if no one stops, what now seems inevitable. The reformation of the Soviet Empire. A little dramatic, perhaps... And then the mini-movie began. 
The recent Russian Olympic games. Specifically, the opening and closing ceremony's. In my mind I watched as a second scene appeared, this one in black and white, that overlapped the first merging the two scenes together as one. The second scene was of the 1940's Olympic Games, and I imagined Adolf and his brethren, side-by-side with Putin and the guests at the Russian arena.
A little creepy, a little scary but mostly eye-opening. Making it more unnerving is the statements by some of the leading members of the Right Wing. Using their petty beliefs and personal ambitions to go after our Presidents policies and accomplishments. His character and worst, the ones whose tones radiate vile racist agendas. At a time when it feels like the Rise of the Iron Curtain is upon us, to have these vipers in our midst spouting off comments that can only hurt, more they will ever help our great nation. By trying to make our President into their twisted interpretation of who he really is. It is rather ironic that these so-called proud Patriots attack our President, they seem to be praising Putin. Really? What a great leader that Putin is! Lets sing his praises. Well fellas if you keep of the drum beat, maybe you better start learning Russian. Or perhaps some or all of you already speak it!

NO IMMIGRATION FOR YOU AND

IT'S PRESIDENTS FAULT… HUH?

FORGETT-ABOUT-IMMIGRATION! 

Speaker John Boehner made a total fool of himself when he actually had the nerve to use President Obama as the scapegoat for his party’s failures at reforming Immigration. On Thursday, February 6, 2014, he basically blamed the President, using the ridiculous excuse that he’s untrustworthy? That our President can’t be trusted to follow the law! 

"The American people, including many of our members, don't trust that the reform we're talking about will be implemented as it was intended to be," Boehner told reporters during his weekly news conference. "The president seems to change the health care law on a whim, whenever he likes.…."

Excuse me! Aren’t you the person in charge of the fools who shut the country down! So we are supposed to trust you. Now its come out that the latest scheme by the Republicans is that they are hedging their bets that they will win back control of the Senate, and once they do; then we will grant the masses a crumb. Perhaps we’ll allow some of the many a shot at citizenship if we decide to allow it!
Oh really, so what happens when you don't take over the Senate, we'll wait another 2, perhaps 4, maybe 6 years for you to get your heads out of your political asses and decide to fix this mess.
The fact that you are making something so important into a political game really is simply disgusting. So why don’t you go out and tell everyone the truth… that unless you get your way, that is, you get enough fools to agree to vote your brethren in, forgett-about-immigration! 
Tell me again how that's gonna happen. Since the rest of your agenda makes the majority of eligible voters vote for anyone that's not Republican. Oh that's right, that why your party is doing their best to try to rid the voters of their rights.
Let's see, a war on women's rights, a war on voting rights, and let's add a war against immigration now. So if what you are threatening is true, for me its three strikes and you’re out! 
I guess the citizens of this great country will just have to wait till the Democrats take over in 2016. Maybe not such a bad thing, remember we voted democratic in 2008, and the democrats gave us Heathcare Reform. 
Sadly when the Republicans won the majority in The House on 2010, any logic in governance on their part seemingly vanished. Their only agenda was to try to remove the Presidents healthcare reform. So perhaps history will repeat itself. Perhaps, if the democrats get back in power, Immigration will finally have its day.
So no immigration reform, this year. Sorry to all those hopefuls who thought that this would happen while President Obama was in office. 
Simply put, vote Democratic in 2016, expect immigration reform! 
Vote Republican and forgett-about-immigration!

TRAVEL-GATE: THE LITTLE SCANDAL 
THAT COULD
OR IS THAT COMEUPPANCE… 
KARMA, IS A BITCH 
Part 1: Maybe next time Governor, when someone asks you a question, you shouldn’t: a) attack him b) respond like you’re Tony Soprano, and c) showcase why you will never be President. That is if you WANT to be President.
Sir, you are a public official. Voted in by the people. You are not a King. People’s actions have consequences, someone actually died, possibly, because of the actions of people inside your inner circle. You wanna act like an ass if queried about this, then don’t expect the press or the rest of us to still appreciate your personal charms. You should act like you give a damn, not like somebody has insulted your weight, when people query about such a gigantic screw up. 
Perhaps you were out-of-the-loop on this, we can only hope that that is the case. And disregarding the fact that this did happen under your watch, and honestly anyone of us could have had their co-workers or even family members do things without our knowledge. There seems to be some logic in that, some. 
Perhaps this debacle is just what you needed to reveal how you respond when a real emergency occurs. You seemed to showcase your compassion and humanity during and especially after the destruction of hurricane Sandy. Endearing you to lots of people. 
But, after the problems of this ‘traffic-gate’ when a reporter queries you about possible “political motives” instead of attacking the reporter, you should have expressed your anger at what occurred and announced you would find out what really happened, and if something that was done was wrong, someone would feel my bile. Perhaps then your usual obnoxious response wouldn’t have bitten you in your ass. Payback is a bitch my friend and today you are paying the price for it. Having to respond to this now major news story. 
The Tony Soprano Act simply has to stop. Whatever your decision is, in your political future, to run or not to run, this ridiculous incident has tainted your political bio. How you respond to it and what your actions are afterwards will reveal if you do have what it takes to be President. Ask yourself Governor, do you? 

The above sentiment was written from 11am to noon, while I was traveling on a subway; at about same time as Chris Christie’s Mea Culpa, so I hadn’t heard what he had to say yet. The next section was written after I watched it on recap.

Part 2: So it seems, Governor Chris Christie is sorry. He had absolutely no knowledge of why the trouble occurred. He only learned about ‘the emails’ the day earlier when he received a call early in the morning. So he’s really really sorry. A lot of he’s there, governor. Basically the speech was…me me me me me.
So it seems, he wants us to believe he was blindsided by this. He’s as much, if not more of a victim in this then anyone. Basically he’s Jesus and the rest of his inner circle are now renamed Judas. 
Simply the Governors claims are hard to swallow. You mean that after all of the shit hit the fan, you never saw fit to investigate what had happened under your watch. Even if as you joked in that earlier press conference that the whole idea that it was politically motivated was a crock. You mean to tell me that in the four months since it happened you hadn’t told your minions that you had to get to the bottom of what happened, who and what was responsible. Cause this minor mishap cost money and hurt people. And as we’ve been learning more about actually might have broken a few laws. Whoops. The fact that you fired a person cause she lied to you is heartening, but the fact that you didn’t want to learn the facts from the horses mouth, has me troubled. 
Sounds like you already know the answer. Maybe you didn’t know about it before it occurred, but after the embarrassment of what occurred. The massive screw-up. The innuendo’s that have being thrown at you daily, that after all this time that you hadn’t speculated the possibilities. Maybe started investigating people… maybe possibly in your inner circle. I mean Governor when their’s smoke there surely might be a little fire. 
Which of course leads me to speculate, that maybe just maybe you did have something to do with it. Or at least had a hand in trying to sweep it away as no big deal.
Well sorry Governor, it is a big deal. Bigger men have been toppled over smaller scandals. In any event, if it comes out that you either had any knowledge of the incident before, during, or after. And If you in any way tried to cover up what happened, your future in politics is over. Forget 2016, you’ll be happy to survive 2014.
Of course this is all conjecture, as Chris Christie announced to the world he was blindsided by this. He is as much the victim as anyone else who suffered because of the traffic ordeal. Perhaps that explains it, maybe he’s been in shock. That explains his lack of interest in what occurred. Or maybe as others much more educated have suggested something isn’t kosher here. Several possible scenarios that debunk Christie’s Mea Culpa not only as a stalling tactic, but worse as a bold faced lie have been talked about on television and the news media, some of which make much more sense then the Governor’s announced innocence in the matter. 
Perhaps next time when somebody asks a question, maybe you’re respond like a politician who cares, and not a tyrant who had something to hide. Maybe then your innocent, boy who cried wolf speech might have come off a little more believable. A few years back, a different governor of another state, New York, resigned because of a personal scandal. I wonder what the governor of New Jersey will do, if it’s revealed that he either knew about it or tried to cover it up... I wonder how quietly he ends his tenure as governor without having to have the state and/or federal police drag him out of his office or into court. It seems payback is a bitch.

REPUBLICANS, HELP ME OUT HERE, I’M CONFUSED
HERE ARE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS, 
MAYBE YOU CAN ANSWER 
Why did you get into politics? I mean sincerely, why? 
If its to help people great! If it was just for the job, not so great! I mean, jeez, our country was on the verge of financial ruin, and you refused to reopen the government cause you were afraid you might not get reelected? Really? You are willing to destroy our way of life so you might be secure in your job? 
Do you just hate ‘Obamacare’ or do you just hate the rest of us even having healthcare?
Your party and its affiliates has spent untold millions of dollars trying to block our President’s healthcare plan. Wouldn’t it have been wiser if you were so unhappy with it, to instead of trying to taint it as literary the devil in disguise, you had instead spent all that time, all those resources on either amending it and making it better, or actually coming up with a better plan. In the process, you’ve slowly turned your brethren into a pact of crazed lunatics. Honestly was this a good use of your resources?
I've been thinking, maybe the truth behind your healthcare fear goes even deeper... maybe Obamacare is bad because it actually gives people the opportunity, finally, to get healthcare. The only option that has been discussed by your side of the aisle is having none! Not one suggestion! 
If you add that, to the assault on women’s healthcare, by attacking places that perform or even instruct women about abortions, the far right has been helping to shut down any and all healthcare to thousands if not millions of people in our nation. And in their zeal to rid our world of abortion, I might say that attack has had the effect of harming any and all women in their pursuit of healthcare. Simply by causing the mere closing of these clinics, these zealots, are causing real harm to the lives of real people. In fact punishing the masses for the sin they believe has been taking place. So what if the innocent gets hurt in the crosshairs, the sinners must pay! And if you are at all associated, you deserve to suffer for it! Hence, no clinic, no healthcare. No healthcare, live in pain, eventually you die! 
Why are you in politics to begin with If you seriously think the world’s ending? And if thats the case, should you be involved in ANY decisions politically that effect the rest of us, that is, if we somehow survive the upcoming apocalypse!
Michele Bachman talks about ‘End of Days’ coming and has the balls to even discuss making budget decisions…listen lady, either it’s all gonna blow up or it ain’t; and if it ain’t, maybe we should play it safe? Cause if it is, why the hell should it matter? 
Lady you is literally playing with fire. You wanna see riots in the streets? You wanna tear this country apart? Keep it up!
Republicans Help me here. Remind me again how it’s all about cutting deficits and growing the economy
This last attempt at killing healthcare cost our nation an estimated 24 billion! Tell me how does this get people jobs? Me thinks your games, simply keep hurting our nation and not helping the American people you so desperately want to lead. It hurt us on interest rates, slows down any momentum in the economy, again.   
In your zeal to kill the ‘Affordable Healthcare Law,’ you almost damaged our nation worse then those planes did on 9/11. We consider those zealots terrorists. Sadly it seems even after the ending was near, the zealots, the health-haters still say they should have kept the government closed! Screw everything, destroy the lives of millions of people around the world. Whose the worst terrorists? 
I guess if you think ‘end of days’ is coming doing so much damage doesn’t matter. People’s suffering doesn’t matter. Since I guess the rest of us are moral degenerates who believe in equality, in women’s rights, and oh my God, healthcare for all, are simply following the Devil! All those abortionists are sinners. We deserve to burn to the ground because we disagree with their backwards thinking views. 
Facts be damned, science and truth are tricks to cover us disbelievers from what is their truth. If you believe those thoughts, good for you. But people who try to destroy everything because they believe fantasies, should have no place in running our nation! Remember the world isn't flat anymore, but it seems, your viewpoints are!

CAN WE SAY TREASON?  
SHOULD THESE ZEALOTS BE SENT TO PRISON?
So, now that the crazies are doing their best to destroy our country, I was just wondering if these backward thinking, uneducated, hypocrites should be arrested and put on trial for treason!
As has been reported on numerous occasions, most recently in the New York Times, several members of the Republican Party reportedly got together and discussed doing everything they could do to stop the newly elected President Obama with anything and everything he tried to do. In effect, trying to make his Presidency a disaster. Disregarding whatever the effects it has on our country and its citizens. And this was occurring during the worst economic time of our nations history, probably since the Great Depression!
And now it's reported that they've done a similar thing, but this time dealing with our government when it comes to The Affordable Care Act. First by demanding that 'Obamacare' be scrapped or they would shut the government down! 
But now that that plan has failed, they're still holding the nation's future as well as the worlds economy hostage unless they get there way! Damn the ramifications!
How is this not treason? A bunch of zealots causing trouble, trying to overthrow our way of life, because they think their God has spoken to them. 
I'm sorry, when these same people are talking "End of days" as they discuss the budget for next year, something is obviously not kosher. It seems to these people, that elections and more importantly facts have no place in any conversation. Just personal opinions and hidden agendas.
Hopefully somehow, the power-brokers in Washington will right this ship. But, if or when this crisis is averted these so-called zealots have to be investigated. And if these 'traitors' are proven to have colluded to 'overthrow' our nation, to throw it under the bridge. To literally decide to stop our President in every possible way, and now to destroy our economy, they need to pay the price! 
First by losing their political power, second by entering their well deserved prison cells. And, or third, if its really proven, and they are convicted of treason, perhaps they all can be sent to Texas and strapped into it's electric chair. Cause doesn't treason come with the death penalty!  Now thats "End of days" isn't  it Michele Bachman? Then, you can really have those so called long conversations with your God as you like to describe it! Elections have consequences, and so does trying to destroy our nation!

SO NOW WE GET TO PICK AND CHOOSE OUR GOVERNMENT? REALLY?
IS THAT RIGHT, EXCUSE ME... CORRECT, REPUBLICATIONS... TRAITORS? 
Honestly, let’s call them out. Traitors! These so called citizens, want to dismantle our Government. Literally causing a shutdown... No FOX news, not a streamlining of the government.... A SHUTDOWN!  
You think this is funny? Do you think the citizens of the United States laughing? Simply having your talking heads come out, saying the exact same talking points, word for word, doesn’t change the facts. Saying you’ve come up with several options, that you’re trying to negotiate doesn’t alter the truth. You want one thing, you want our nation to go back in time. 
You selfish few forget exactly why our nation was formed. If you want to discuss what goes into the budget, thats when you discuss it. And funny thing is... You did! The budget was passed! You don’t get to renegotiate the budget again, afterwards. Not when it’s time to pay the bill. After you have a steak dinner, you can’t decide to pay just for the salad, cause you want to. This budget was approved and signed into law. Pay the bill! 
How complicated is that. Because of a few bible thumping backward thinking politicians, being unhappy with that resolution. They now decide, oh sorry, disregard what we agreed on. Disregard the wished of the majority, what next Abortion? Oh thats right, thats's already happening all over the country... Just like the election. Guess the people who voted in the President by more then 5 million votes never happened. (oh, that BS commentary that you won the Congress, well you might have 'won' the elections, but in actuality, you lost the vote... thats right, the democratic candidates actually received more votes... so that theory is shot. Next) 
I guess all the people coming up to you are really the voices that matter. As of now, most of these 'voices of the people' have only been talked about, and never seen. It would be nice to actually have some of these 'complainers showcased, let the public see what you see. Maybe the complaints are sincere, real, and factual. Or maybe, they are simply made-up BS, cause thats all you really got. Kind of like those pesky DEATH PANELS! Or perhaps maybe we will finally find those missing WMDs! 
So let’s just keep every program you dislike unfunded. Department of Defense.... Ok, department of education... screw that, everyone start home schooling.. Social security, Medicare, taxes...everyone for themselves!  Let just end the country...  
Simply put, the tea party faithful, have put a gun to the head of the United States. And that’s without discussing guns! Guess the term united has to be reconfigured, cause really how united are we... really? With politicians trying to make it more difficult to vote. Shut the Government down... Good? it won’t really hurt... Really? 
End Obamacare! End any chance for healthcare for all of its citizens... Sorry, it ain’t happening.. Don’t hold your breath. Cause once the citizens of this nation really and fully realize what you ingrates are trying to pull. Taking away millions of peoples chances of literally being able to get basic medical care. You’ve heard of the million man march....   How do I put this... you wanted to start a fight with the lives of millions upon millions of Americans... you might not be so happy you did!

WHAT IF ASSAD DOESN’T GET SMACKED... WHAT THEN?
OR HAS THE 2ND PRESIDENT BUSH RUINED ALL  FUTURE PRESIDENTS CHANCES OF DOING THEIR JOBS
I keep hearing the mantra: We shouldn’t get involved. It’s not our war. Its not our job. Its not out business. That unless we specifically get attacked, we should simply sit on the sidelines doing nothing. At the same time, others bitch that we should have been doing something for 2 years. Arguing for an all out attack, with possible boots on the ground... 
Seriously, when do we act? After the next use of weapons, perhaps this time outside their borders! Perhaps after an attack against Israel or another one of our allies! 
I understand about waiting, after President George W. Bush lied us all the way to wars that weren’t necessary, especially after the Mission accomplished fiasco! Sadly the warmongers who drove us into the ditch the last decade are now either completely against action this time and/or are calling for an all out war! 
I think by now, at least some of us have learned to be weary when these previous stars of our Government come out of hiding and speak their collective mantra of war. After the financial debacle and the WMD’s miscalculation & their bogus jobs plans, any suggestions or opinions by these so-called experts should be questioned. They weren’t right then, why the hell should we think they are right now or ever. I understand people’s trepidation about ‘smacking’ Syria for using chemical weapons. I understand people’s fears, specifically after the debacle of the Bush years. But I also understand history, remember Adolf...
I for one am backing our President’s decision. He has proven beyond a reasonable doubt to be the one politician I can believe in! Always using intelligence, logic and reasoning with all of his decisions. Always seemingly in the best interest of the American people. Always sitting back, taking a moment to listen to the opinions of everyone. Actually changing his plans when given a good reason. Throughout his entire political life, President Obama has proven time and again to be right about his decisions, seeing the truth through the B.S., seemingly the only voice in our Government standing up against the lies 
Even my choice at the time, Senator Hillary Clinton, fell for the B.S. or at least decided she should side with the President on military action. I mean our President wouldn’t ever lie to the American people, let alone the entire world, would he? The decision, probably, helping the most to lose her race against the eventual President.
If as President Obama asserts, that Assad has used chemical weapons. As the evidence sadly seemingly showcases, against his own people, he needs to be smacked one way or another. Be it today in a surprise strategic hit, or with an announced strike, so Assad (or any other leaders who are even contemplating using these foul weapons of mass destruction), can watch as it happens. Knowing that there is a penalty if they do. 
If we don’t do anything, I can not even imagine what terrible things might happen next. And if we do nothing, what do we say, when the inevitable next attack happens.

SECOND CLASS CITIZENS? I THOUGHT WE WERE ALL EQUAL... AREN’T WE?
SO HOW MUCH DO YOU EXPECT ME TO LIVE ON?
Maybe we are alone. Maybe life was simply one big accident or maybe some of us are just inbred racists living off the corpses of the rest of us! Phew...
Maybe life was meant to be a struggle. Maybe the simple fact that theirs a humanity is a scientific anomaly. Our planet itself a one time accident. Maybe we really are alone in the universe, Huh? Sorry not what I was expecting to be writing about. Stream of consciousness thing... now to today’s sermon. 
What I wanted to write about was ‘a living wage’ and ‘profits’ and really the whole superior mentality that some gonads seem to have out there. Plus lets throw in a little racism for good measure...
I think this whole situation between the haves and have nots stem from growing up as a child of privilege. Where does that comes from? As my father would say, “their sh*t stinks just as much as mine does.” I’m trying to showcase a lifestyle, a way of life that perpetuates the ‘I’m better then you mentality has been bred into us for centuries. As slaves, serfs, servants, maids, etc., people have been ‘assisting’ others for centuries. First as property, then as hired hands. In any event always seemingly looking down at these ‘hired hands’ simply as the help, not as equals, not as human beings. 
I thought we were all equal? Aren’t we? I really do think that if you grew up with any servants, or house keepers, you are ‘trained’ to see others as lesser beings. Look at the way some people treat waitresses, or store clerks. Like they’re superior to them. Why? who the fu*k do they think they are? Sorry we were all born the same way. No one person is better then anyone else.
Even today in the corporate world, or in any other profession the people in charge seem to look down at their employees, messengers, doormen, and other low wage earners as second class citizens, or worse. The fact that people scoff at ‘a living wage’, or even the idea of a minimum wage sickens me. Doesn’t the person you are hiring deserve to live like a human being. How dare you suggest a wage that wasn’t acceptable 20 years ago. Would you accept it?
I mean how much profit is enough, as your minimum wage employees struggle to even pay for their meals. How dare people expect others to work at a wage, and be grateful for the few crumbs that’s awarded. Isn’t it the idea to reward good work, not leverage it. 
Seems, the Republican mantra of ‘The users against the Takers’ is a little backwards, The real users are the rich, using up and taking the rest of us for all we’re worth, then throwing us out to starve without any safety net to live on. People shouldn’t be thrown out like the last generation iPhone, just so your profits meet expectations!
What about incentives for your employees? Your corporation earned $5 billion in profits, maybe everyone should get a raise! Just rewarding CEO’s with multi-million dollar bonuses, while you lay off employees isn't exactly... a nice thing. 
People are not cattle. People are not slaves. Goes back to the old plantation mentality, I own you, I use you. Now go way. Too harsh?

ANTHONY WEINER YOU'RE A PUTZ 
On behalf of all New Yorkers... please just get out of politics.  If you're so inclined, find a job helping people or volunteer in a soup kitchen or homeless shelter. Just get of politics for good. Sorry your second chance just got revoked.
To actually have the nerve to have this crap in your personal life and think you're up to the job of the Mayor of New York City. What a set of balls you must have...
When you first announced your candidacy I went, lets give him a chance. I liked him before, in fact I voted for him... once! And now he's repented. What's past is past. Well, seems Mr. Weiner's not exactly a new man. Sadly, he's more of the same.
So here goes... I beseech you please, just go away Anthony. Sadly you've become a literal joke. Watching your 'news' event, with the media, and your wife actually did help you. I mean if your wife can live with this why should the rest of us complain Heck, it worked for Bill, didn't it? Doesn't hurt either that the Mrs. works for Hillary. Guess you could say, you learned from the best... sorry, Anthony, it actually made you look stupider. 
How could you, she's perfect. Your 'addiction' or 'issues' has to be pretty bad if you literally can't keep it in your pants with her in your life.
So on behalf of all New Yorkers, please end your candidacy now. Show us, what a big man you really are... this time... sans Instagram! Save us from months of attack ads by your foes and the political right. Do you actually have the balls to let NYC have to be swamped with your so-called past, seemingly current peccadillo's for months on end. As you go out trying to showcase yourself as the best candidate for the job, we the electorate gets to be confronted by more of the same. Can you even imagine the media coverage and covers of the New York Post as we get closer to Election Day.
Mr Weiner, please be the big man about this. End your campaign, let New Yorkers vote for someone who we at least have less personal information about... and for once that's a good thing. We've already had enough sharing in this election, if you get my drift.

I THINK ITS TIME TO GIVE THESE BACKWARDS THINKING REPUBLICANS A SLAP IN THEIR COLLECTIVE POCKETBOOKS. IT'S TIME FOR THE 21ST CENTURY TO TAKE A 2OTH CENTURY STAND

On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks, a 42-year-old African American woman, boarded a Montgomery City bus, and changed history (we hoped forever). Sadly, it seems the Republicans, still stinging from defeat at the hands of this century’s most historic person of color, President Obama are continuing their self-destructive tendencies.
This week the Supreme Court’s epic decision to remove sections of The Voter’s Right Act, has seemingly opened a Pandora’s box of new policy changes by Republican leading states. These changes in the rules, have only one aim, to make it more difficult  if not impossible for many citizens to have their natural born rights as Americans. 
Add to that, these same sad examples of humanity, are also trying their worst, to make women second class citizens. Watching the Texas legistrators try to steamroll their backwards thinking agenda, was simply to close for comfort with what occurred in Wisconsin the last few a few years back with the Union busting.
So my thinking here is, every person of color, every woman, and the men who agree with them, lets have a sit in.  Could you imagine if none of these people went to work for a day. If all of these people stopped traffic in streets. Could you imagine how quickly these fools feet would ram up their throats. 
You want to go backwards, you want to make decisions for the rest of us, using your narrow minded, racist thinking mantality, you shouldn't be in politics.

HERE’S AN IDEA I HAVEN’T HEARD YET... INSTEAD OF BUILDING WALLS, LET’S BUILD AN ‘AMERICAN CANAL’

Why not just separate the land masses. A few billion dollars well spent, ridding us of all the illegals. Sounds ridiculous? No seriously, why not. We already did that, when we created Panama Canal. Not convinced yet. You complain that the costs of doing this would just be too much. Really? Imagine the value of the land once Mexico has been excised off of our land. Separated by the ocean. I can only imagine how expensive the new Waterfront property would be on our side. How much money could be made by all those Texas land barons. You want a jobs plan. I got one right here. Imagine how many million would gain employment from this idea. First with the construction of the American Canal, and then with the creation of a all new stretch if beach. 
Come to think of it, Texans’ keeps threatening to leave our union. Go ahead. Why not dig a trench separating Texas from the Union. Let Texas, the country, deal with its neighboring country Mexico. Let them deal with the border problems. Why stop there let’s just build a Canal between Canada and these United States. Why not. I’ve always wondered why we never hear anything about all those Pesky Canadians. Think of all those comedic acting gigs stolen by those illegals from the North. I mean it couldn’t be because of the color of their skin. Hmmm, just pondering a little.
I realize how ridiculous this sounds. But honestly, an African American President didn’t see that one coming.  Hopefully a women replacing him in 2006. Gay marriage, honestly even the most liberal amongst us never envisioned that occurring. 
I’m just thinking out loud, wondering if I put this out there, how my half-backed crazy notion will add to the national conversation. Immigration reform, lets rethink that a little. If we build a canal, literally separating the continents, the NEW reforms could be open-shut. You are on our island, you are a citizen, you don’t like it, we put you on a boat back to Mexico, bye bye, see ya. 
Think about the cost savings with that new Canal, all the money wasted every year on border security could be spent on more important things, like education, or infrastructure. Maybe save a few bridges. Rebuilding money after the next Hurricane. Actually this is beginning to sound better then I originally thought. How about saving Social Security, shrinking our debt and fixing the Postal Office.
Or we can just can continue building fences. Instead of having to do this immigration reform thing, every 25 years or so. Adding all the illegals the next time the numbers force our political leaders into this jam that we’re in. This would end that from occurring again. There, just found us another half billion. The Republication are going love this idea. Which means I’m probably gonna hate the idea when they announce it at their next Presidential debates. Heck against Hilary, they’re gonna have to come up with something big, they are to any chance of defeating our next President. 
Now thats reform, now that’s real change. Well you did want fresh ideas, All we ever hear is we have to secure our borders, well, this definitely would do just that.

MUSLIMS, WHY THE RIGHT SHOULD LEAVE THEM ALONE

BEFORE THEY REALLY BECOME WHAT YOU PREACH

It's funny, ever since 9-11 the media has discussed one thing more then probably everything else. Muslims and their hatred of the West. Of America and its people. How much they want to destroy us. Blow us up. Bomb us out of existence. 

And now that hatred has come home to the shores of these United States. 

Two native sons, have showcased something that should worry all of us free thinkers. By harping on and harping on this hatred agenda the weak-minded and miserable found something to believe in. Their hatred, their misery combined with non-stop racist propaganda helped fuel their bile.

Wolves in sheep clothing became weapons of mass destruction.

It's funny, we never found and WMD's, did we Chaney. How does it feel to be the one who caused American citizens to become one.

If its true that the Muslims are all out to get us, or even the so-called zealots. The few, the extreme, the dangerous ones, then we are all screwed. We should just all give up and convert, cause with over one billion Muslims around the world, if just a small percentage attacked they would simply over power us.

And if the only safely measures our military leaders can use to defend us are Nuclear weapons we might as well simply give up. Cause in the end the only way out is Armageddon. 

Now I don't know about you, but maybe a little less 'noise' about the evilness of them, and maybe a lot more talk about the good in them might be a better solution. Can't we all just get along.  We are only as strong as the sum of all us. It takes a village...

Cause one way or the other we have to somehow survive this current stage of human history.

HOW THE TRAGEDY OF NEWTON CHANGED LES MISERABLES FOR ME

AND HOW MY PERSONAL FAVORITE MUSICAL WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

You never know when something is gonna knock you a loop, and having witnessed the great Les Miserables in its original run on Broadway over 60 times one would think there would be few surprises in store for me upon watching the film adaptation. No I'm not obsessed, well maybe a little, but you see I was a volunteer for the American Theatre Wing and had the honor of chaperoning underprivileged children to their first Broadway shows (a very rewarding experience). So I thought I was used to all the tragedy that's happens on that stage. Seeing the film version, left few surprises at least in the plot for me and seeing it brought to beautiful and wonderful perfection on screen Christmas Day was something I will forever treasure, especially cause they actually got it right...for once. 

But watching it yesterday, for the first time since, on my SAG screener, something I never expected occurred that knocked me like a ton of bricks. In the midst of the big battle, when Gavroche, the angelic boy is killed by the French military the tragedy of Newton struck home. The recent murders in Connecticut smacked me literally in the face. The beautiful child who had just sung his last words on screen was no longer just a character in a story, he had become the representation of the children of Newton for me. And what had always been just one of a multitude of emotional moments in the plot now became simply too real. I imagined the slaughtered children, and I was overcome with emotion far beyond what had ever happened before. In my mind I now visualized the children being literally torn asunder by that pathetic madman who did such a horrible thing. 

Listening to what happened to those children, especially hearing the parents describing the 'remains' of their babies, one would think that would be real enough for anyone. But seeing that beautiful young boy on the screen, being gunned down, that made what occured real. I understand the weaponry is different, but seeing that child who had just entertained me struck down was like nothing I can ever remember. And for me any and all discussions in the matter have ended. From now on whenever I watch the film, or even listen to my many versions (get the original French, astonishing) the face of Gavroche will always remind me of those 20 beautiful souls, and I will treasure the show even more for now its not just a show, for me it has become real.

Now I ponder how this change in perspective alters my future viewings of my favorite musical. Will it forever taint it's greatness or has it actually made the experience more real and therefore possibly even greater, because now its real and not fiction.  And isn't that what art is supposed to do.

ENOUGH WITH THE GUNS ALREADY
ENOUGH WITH THE KILLING
I am so sick of listening to this conversation already. Simply put, how many people have to die before you wake up to the reality that we are facing.  People are literally being gun down in schools now. What is this the Wild West? What have our streets suddenly been replaced with dirt again. And we’re riding on horses again? Isn’t it time, that our gun policies enter the 21st century too. I mean if we can pave sidewalks, why can’t we curb gun’s also.
I watched an angry women on FOX NEWS the other night, Michelle Malkin, another one of the many hi-paid talking heads, practically boiling because people were having their guns ‘confisgated’ by the police. Like this was a plot to rob us of our rights. Look lady, this was a volunteer program to help lessen the hardware out there, not to take away any rights. Guess you can have an opinion, but not facts, huh? Next step, no guns, really. Oh, my God! Damn the man, lets start a revolution. How dare they take our rights away. First safety belts and now guns. Time to revolt again.
Our rights? Screw our rights! Our children are being slaughtered in the streets, literally. Thousands upon thousands of people are being shot, maimed and killed in our nation, every single day. Wake the ‘F’ up already. All I can say lets hope they’re right. Cause I think we have reached the tipping point. Kids are now, let me start that one over, white kids are now being killed (in large numbers no less). That’s when the Government starts to do what needs to be done to protect the masses from the crazies. The people who think its okay to have enough fire power in their pockets to destroy a city block or worse.
I understand peoples rights to protecting themselves, I do. But there comes a point when I’m sorry something has to be done. To listen to idiots say that teachers should be forced to learn how to fire guns if they want to teach is insane. Isn’t their job tough enough? Isn’t their a better solution, then even more guns?
Honestly, this just stuns me that in this day and age we have to listen to people without a sense of logic, expressing outrage that Uncle Sam will take away their guns. Well perhaps after over 200 years, its time that he did just that. The country is safe. We will not be over taken over by the British, or the Germans, or whomever. Maybe its time to say good bye to the past. Throw away the arsenal. Get with the program and actually be a part of our great nation.

JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION, WHY DID YOU GO INTO POLITICS?
WAS IT TO HELP PEOPLE, OR JUST TO GET RICH?
Since the election, I have watched as the political leaders in Washington have played with the lives of millions of Americans. I like many others thought that once the election process was over, everyone would wake up and do the job that the American people elected them to do. Sadly I guess I was being gullible and naive. Lets see, the voters had a choice, we decided, Obama and his policies were approved by the vast majority of the American people. So what’s the problem, lets get things accomplished.
As we all hoped after President Obama’s first election victory, that CHANGE was gonna occur. Of course in reality, we discovered that the people who are against the CHANGE we voted for in 2008 tried their best to stop any CHANGE from happening. The Mid-Term election possibly giving them, just cause to think that they were in the right. Perhaps we were just bamboozled by a great speaker?
But as this years election results proved, they weren’t. The people spoke, and what we said was that we indeed wanted the change we requested 4 years a go. And the CHANGE that seemed to actually be making a difference.
But, as the clock ticks outs on this current fiscal crisis, it seems the losers in the election haven’t heard the peoples voices. We spoke loud and clear, we didn’t like their candidates and we didn’t like the message. We liked and voted for what our President requested. And we expected that the grown-ups dealing with our problems as a nations would do the right thing.
So I guess my question is, as we watch what occurs, why are these people even in their positions? Why did they decide to run for office in the first place? Was it to help people? Was it to try to improve the lives of the less fortunate? Was it because they thought they could do better? Why? Why would someone go through all that hell of running for political office if not to help others? That they become Congressmen or Senators to get rich? Is that the real reason, so that once they resign, they’re set forever. Not worrying about their retirement, cause they were elected and their pension plan is better then God’s?
I’m Just wondering how they sleep at night. When people are worried about the next meal, their children’s education, how they’re gonna pay this months rent let alone next months. How do people who have the capacity to do great things for others could go on television and act so smug and point blank lie at what they’ve been doing to try to help the situation. How?
I mean if you have the chance to do something of good, shouldn’t you. How can you just sit back and let others suffer when you actually could help them so easily.  And if they don’t shouldn’t they just get up and quit and let someone else whose got the balls to do something, do the job.  I mean isn’t that why you become a politician, to help others, if not, why bother?

BIG MONEY LOSES BIG TIME, AS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE THEIR SAY

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA WINS RE-ELECTION 

Finally after way too long, the people have spoken. The President was re-elected easily. Giving everyone a chance to see how politics should be done. Beating greats odds, and a candidate that seemed to changed positions by the minute, plus millions of dollars of hate speak. The American people  stood up against all the lies and made me proud to be an American. A country which was born of our quest for freedom battered back against the people who are trying to rid us of as much freedom as possible.

The republican party which supposedly strives for freedom, spent millions trying to turn our now re-elected President into an outsider, an alien, or worse.  Trying to push their religious beliefs on all of us, regardless of our own.  Pushing their mantra that if you're not one of us, obviously you must be against us. Making racism seem like part of their National agenda.
But, good won the day and amazingly it wasn't even close.  Even with Florida still not counted fully, President Obama trounced Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan even more then even I hoped for.  And whats better, because of his over 50% win of the popular vote, twice. More then even the ever popular President Bill Clinton.  
So now we get four more years of President Obama and Vice President Biden. We get to watch as both parties explain why they won or lost. Listening to see who actually got what just occurred or who still lives in their own world. We get to see, if our elected officals finally act like adults and get the job done. 
Four years a go, our President was elected to fix what President Bush 2 left us in. And thankfully he has been given another four to finish the job. Leaving us a much better and stronger nation. I have high hopes that he is more then up to the job, and am even more thankful that unlike when Vice President Gore lost the chance to continue President Clinton's agenda, President Obama will be able to.  
I have never felt more excited about whats ahead for our country. Good won out. Hatred lost. Racism was smacked back into wherever it came from. We have not a good man in the White House, but a great man. And now we get to watch as he gets to do his thing. And boy is it gonna be fun. Yes we can, Yes we can. Yes we can.

Finally, its time to vote. Yes!!!  Which means, after way too long, the American people get their break from all the B.S, the too many commercials, newspapers, magazines, television, robo-calls, junk mail and emails.  Free at last to enjoy television and reading without having to be deal with all the talking heads, all the experts who try to sway our vote. All the lies that the fact-checkers revealed.  Finally, it comes down to each one of us to decide who we feel has the ability to run our country. Be for love of country or revenge (thanks Mitt for that)

Four years ago, candidate Barack Obama won rather easily (something that I hear, 'probably' won't happen this time).  Of course his current adversary, Mitt Romney also ran for the presidency four years ago, but didn't make it to the final round then.  And of course, the candidate Romney who ran four years ago, isn't the same candidate that's running against him this time. Well at least as far as we can tell. Since his positions have changed practically daily. Which is exactly the opposite of our President, the man that ran four years ago, is the man running this time. 

Four years ago, President Barack Obama came into office pushing for Change and infact delivered. Coming in he had promised a lot, and against almost all odds succeeded in accomplishing many of his promises.  Of course, as the republicans keep harping on, the unemployment rate is still too high.  Not that they helped at all, doing there best to stop any possible job programs.  And finally he's gotten the unemployment rate under 8%. So I guess he didn't 'lie' (Somehow when a candidate promises and hopes to deliver something, that something becomes a lie when because of circumstances beyond their control, the numbers aren't better). 

Four years ago, I voted for candidate Obama, still upset that my pick Hilary Clinton was defeated by him; but knowing who he was up against, honestly it wasn't too difficult a choice.  My one worry was, that like the previous President, Bush proved that we needed someone in the White House, who entered the office with enough experience to handle the job.  Well, after four years, any worries I had are over. I got a little nervous after the first debate, but I must stress, just a little 'cause even though he supposedly lost, at least he answered the questions without pandering and point blank lying about what his policies are, or were.

The funny thing is that after four years in office, my opinion of our president has only grown in admiration. Considering all the tests he has been given, and all his accomplishments (without any help from the other side of the aisle). Its amazing anyone has doubts about his abilities. And yes Mrs. Romney, Obama still seems to be the only grown-up in the room.   

Unfortunately, that can not be said of candidate Romney, a man who seems to be on all sides of the fence.  In most cases, those policies at least the ones he's for (I can not say he believes in, cause I have no idea if he believes in anything but himself).  As opposed to our President, who you honestly feel has real reasons for wanting to be President, Mr. Romney, seems to have no real reason for wanting the job.

In closing, in this day and age (remember its the 21st century) to have candidates arguing against woman's rights, abortion, equal pay, and simple math when it comes to the economy, it is not time to give our country over to failed policies that are literally from another century. We can not afford to hand over the keys to the kingdom to people who want to go back to the policies that failed us so badly in the past.  And finally President Obama has earned the chance to finish what he started in righting our ship.
